AMC Worcester – Big plans this Fall
Mark your calendars now: We have several Chapter activities planned in the coming months including our annual meeting and awards dinner on November 9th. In addition, our winter hiking workshop is being offered once again. Based on prior attendance, we expect to again see a house full of folks eager to brave the single digits and icing footings in order to be blessed with the beauty and magic of the Winter trails. Our Mission
The AMC Worcester Chapter carries out the mission of the Appalachian Mountain Club in the County of Worcester, Massachusetts. The Appalachian Mountain Club is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the protection, enjoyment, and understanding of the outdoors. Of the AMC’s 12 chapters, Worcester is one of the largest. The chapter is run 100% by volunteers who organize hundreds of outings covering a wide range of activities throughout New England. We hike, bike, camp, rock climb, paddle, and ski. We offer educational programs, family and social activities, and do conservation activities such as trail work and park clean-up. Join AMC!
