All AMC Worcester Chapter outdoor activities are led by volunteers. Our leaders are skilled in the events they lead. The AMC takes pride in offering an array of outdoor leadership learning opportunities. We encourage our members to become leaders in the outdoor activities they love. Executive Committee Meetings, last Wednesday of the month at 6pm at the YMCA Harrington Camp in Boylston, MA. Meetings are open to all, but please RSVP to Sharon Foster. If attending. Come join us for dinner before the meeting!
Endowment Fund
This is money available from the chapter's endowment fund for grants of up to $5,000 that will be used by members or partner organizations to promote the AMC mission. Interested parties should contact the endowment chair for more information or for an application form.

Adv Wilderness First Aid, Part ll (SOLO)
More hands on practice! Learn how to manage an emergency in the backcountry from qualified Solo instructors. AWFA Part ll is a comprehensive, more in-depth, two day course at Camp Harrington in Boylston, MA covers standard emergency care with an emphasis on backcountry long-term care and evacuation. WFA is a pre-req to this class. Fees incl., course instruction and meals.

Joint Leadership Training w/Berkshire Chapter
Leaders, come join us for a fun filled w/e of shared knowledge, good food and you! Even if it's been a while since you've taken this course - it's a helpful reminder of what is required to be a volunteer leader!
Whether you'd like to become a Chapter leader, or just want to improve your outdoor skills, you're invited to attend. Training emphasizes group dynamics, leaders' responsibilities, trip planning/management, weather emergencies, incident/accident scene management, leader awareness, and decision-making. $25 fee covers day training, and materials. Overnight lodging available for $18/night. Advance payment requested. Existing leaders attend at no charge.

Saturday CPR and First Aid Training. CPR and First Aid training is required for AMC Chapter Youth Program Leaders and a useful skill for personal, professional and recreational activities. Classes are offered one Saturday morning per month by "Safety Trainers" at the National Safety Council in West Boylston. Classes begin at 8am and end at 12 noon. Cost is $55 for AMC members. Scholarships may be available. Certification is for 2 years.

Help for Online Trips Database
The online trips database allows leaders to post their own trips for publication and Web posting. Committee Chairs enter new leaders in the database, and leaders enter trips for approval by the Committe Chair and Leadership Chair.
